Here, a woman's face has begun to emerge into existence, created by the particles found in both stars and human. I am intrigued by the idea that distinct "things" exist, separated from one another by solid borders that allows them to occupy space. This is the reality we perceive and exist in. However, at the quantum level, atoms are more "empty space" than matter, solid surfaces are our lived experience but ultimately an illusion, and particles aren't necessarily particles but can also behave like waves that opens up a range of possibilities. I like the mental imagery of existence as a multitude of fields in which matter pop in and out of existence. Perhaps then we are not as separate from each other as our minds would have us believe? Well, either way, the fact remains; we are indeed all made off starstuff.
