That transitional mental state between wakefulness and sleep. A liminal space where fragmented sensory experiences intrude unannounced without any apparent rhyme or reason. Perhaps this is an experience completely unique to every individual. Perhaps there are universal visual elements that resonate across minds? Or maybe it’s just a vague feeling, an eerie sense of recognition from color or composition that one can relate to, even if it’s not the same things we see?
