“The prompted canvas” is not commissioned art so much as a game of
art commission roulette. One that hopefully brings both satisfaction, additional layers of
depth and… where no one dies, I guess?

why?

I want to make the case that thisis different from simply using AI. Though certainly useful and mindbogglingly effective, AI is arguably an amalgamation and regurgitation of every human view shared online. While art made this way can be beautiful and even thought provoking depending on previous life experiences, one is neither observing nor connecting with another mind. It is a solitary experience that can certainly hold value, but it is different.


Rather, I hope to achieve a conversation between two people, that is to say, between yourself and me. I also want to explore whether context; be it cultural, linguistic, social or otherwise, has created biases better illustrated by visual art than verbal communication.

A prompted canvas could really be for anyone; artsy folks looking to explore new
ways to create, cool aunts (because they’re cool aunts), families, friends, successful entrepreneurs, intellectuals young and old. Perhaps you are even all of these things at once?
